MotoGiro East Prologue

Riders and bike are filling Oneota, New York under heavy skies.
Pop Up showers are expected thru the weekend.
Rumor has it there are 75 miles of dirt roads and several stream crossing this year.
Recent rains over the past few days should make those crossing very interesting.
Bikes range from the decrept originals to concours restorations.
I will be riding in chase truck no. 1
Ride starts at 8am

Day 1 - Six break downs of 135 riders. One Honda CB spiked with 50V showing on the meter before smoke started coming from under the tank. Another rider on a Honda CA went down during a sharp left turn when the drivetrain seized. That was probably a blessing in disguise as we found the front brake barely functional and there are some very steep and sandy hill descents. A Honda S90 motor completely froze and another beautiful Honda CL had an ignition issue. Not a good start for the Hondas.

Update - Health and Camera fail. Sorry to report I am heading home with a fever, headache, and cough. My camera also failed and I am trying to recover what I can from the SD.
Nice part of BMW singles
